A 12 volt, deep cycle marine battery up to 200 amps needs to be purchased separately. These can be found at most auto parts stores.

It has to be a deep cycle battery because the plates on an automotive one will sulfate and rot much faster over time.

512 interfaces between a heating appliance (wood pellet or alternative fuel stove) and its AC wall outlet. When AC utility power is present, the backup charges the battery and monitors the wall outlet to detect a power outage. At the moment utility power fails, these backup units draws energy from a battery and converts it to enable appliance operation. When utility power returns, the backup automatically switches the appliance back to AC wall outlet power. At the same time, the backup resumes charging the battery to return it to full capacity in preparation for the next power failure.

                 WELL PUMP               BATTERY BACKUP MODEL 952

Model 952 Well Pump Sentry maintains well pump operation during power outages. Model 952 is a self-contained emergency backup system designed to drive single phase 220 VAC to 240 VAC well pumps rated up to one horsepower.

The 952 system is comprised of an inverter, power transfer switch, and a 3 stage automatic battery charger. Power input connections to the 952 Well Pump Sentry consist of an AC voltage input from the utility and a DC voltage input from a battery bank. The 952 Well Pump Sentry may be mounted horizontally or vertically and will energize pump motors having configurations of two or three wires.
